(Edited after initial post to fix date payment was made. This payment was NOT autodrafted, I manually paid this based on the balance shown at the time of login. Since the combination process had been kind of strange, we assumed this was a partial bill for the internet and the rest would be included on the new bill. Leading me to believe that ALL accounts had in fact been combined.Ġ8/31- $56.84 payment made to AT&T for internet services. I tried BOTH usernames and received the same message with the same account information. No bills were outstanding and no new information was available for the combined process.Ġ8/25- $295 payment to AT&T for wireless services.Ġ8/31- Logged into the account online and received a message that our bills had now been combined. We were told it could take a few billing cycles for the combined process to finalize and to continue paying the bills as due.Ġ8/04- DirecTV autodrafted for $111 out of my husbands account.Ġ8/17- I checked the status of the combined process with all three accounts to see if I could find a total cost for the bill. through the Live Chat feature and clarified that all three accounts were to be combined, not just one. Now, because I stupidly forgot to save the transcript, I can't remember what the discount was, but the offer we received was related to the speed of internet we received.Ġ8/01- My husband received an e-mail confirmation of the request for combined billing.Ġ8/02- I logged into our DirecTV account with the new login information and told my husband that it looked like they only bundled the TV & Internet. ![]() We were given a new account number.Ġ7/31- I spoke to an agent through the Live Chat feature and requested combined billing for all of the accounts and inquired about the discount they offered with the combined billing. I was able to grab the exact dates for everything by going through our records and conversations with each other since most of the talks w/reps happened while we were both at work.Ġ7/30- My husband ended up calling AT&T back after several days of waiting and we were able to get the service responsibility transferred. ![]() Normally I do this, but I cannot find the transcript anywhere and it would be so much more helpful if I had the conversations to back it up. Note- do not make the mistake that we did by not saving your AT&T chat logs. This resulted in numerous long phone calls to AT&T and a call-back that never happened. ![]() I initiated the transfer online, but for whatever reason the website would not process the request. He already had DirecTV and AT&T wireless accounts, so it made sense to transfer the one service into his name. At the end of July, my husband and I began the process of transferring the billing responsibility for our AT&T internet service into his name. We were told in order to do this, all of the accounts needed to be in the same name. My husband and I decided to do the combined billing for our DirecTV, AT&T wireless, and AT&T internet accounts. ![]()
